On September 27, 2008, the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Toronto-South was host to a presentation on the new Outreach Program for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Four projects were outlined at the presentation:

• Sai Convention - to bring about awareness and the understanding of the fundamentals of Swami's message
• United Mega Seva in the GTA - The service is intended to have high impact to the community.
• Public Meetings - To bring public awareness of Sai's presence and His message to EVERYONE by holding meetings/open houses/programs at personal, community and national levels.
• Media - To bring awareness of Sai's presence and His Teachings by various approaches and following His Guidelines.
